Are you confident on the phone, comfortable having honest conversations, and good at helping people find solutions? If so, I’d like to meet you.

I’m Mark Leal, a local State Farm agent, and I’m hiring a Billing Specialist to join my team immediately. This role is perfect for someone who can be both friendly and firm while helping customers understand their bills, resolve past-due balances, and take the next step with confidence.

You won’t be sitting quietly behind a stack of paperwork. You’ll be connecting with customers, solving problems, and making a real impact every day. You’ll also be joining a fun, energetic office where teamwork is valued, wins are celebrated, and maintaining a positive culture is a priority.

What You’ll Do

  • Make outbound calls regarding past-due payments
  • Receive incoming calls and assist customers with billing questions
  • Explain balances, payment requirements, and account information clearly
  • Help customers understand their options and identify next steps
  • Document conversations and update customer records accurately
  • Follow up consistently on unresolved balances
  • Handle challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy
  • Support the team with additional administrative and customer-service tasks as needed

Previous experience in billing, collections, customer service, call centers, banking, insurance, or account management is helpful, but I’m also open to someone with the right attitude who is eager to learn.

Compensation $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
